Joshua Crumbly - Steps

Composer/producer Joshua Crumbly is back with his latest EP P.S. On “Steps,” he’s joined by Samora Pinderhughes. With minimal instrumentation and spectacular production, Crumbly and Pinderhughes mutate sounds that push us into a mind-bending dream sequence. Crumbly will play an EP release show at New York’s The Sultan Room on 2/22 alongside Pinderhughes and other special guests.

Greyskiin - Alexithymia

“Alexithymia,” the new single from LA-based producer/artist Greyskiin, swings between emotions. As Greyskiin explains, “Alexithymia is defined as an emotional phenomenon in which an individual has trouble experiencing emotions. The song is informed by a fear of feeling nothing.” On working in his genre, Greyskiin comments, “I make doom pop - pretty music for a world that’s falling apart.”


Public Circuit - Reach for the Knife

Brooklyn synth wave band Public Circuit has released their latest single, “Reach For The Knife.” According to the band, “The song centers around the idea that our humanity lies in our fragility. The delicate and unpredictable nature of life is what should give us meaning.” Their debut album Lamb is out 3/8 via à La Carte Records.


then there were blackbirds - La Prochaine Fois

On “La Prochaine Fois” Florida’s then there were blackbirds, songwriter Geoff Parks’ solo project, gets introspective. “The lyrics of La Prochaine Fois (“the next time”) explore the idea that while every new path we take can be a new beginning, our present is always filled with—and influenced by—echoes of our past,” Parks says. The track is off of the debut EP Saratoga.

Seed Toss - Heard You Say

Seed Toss, the power pop band from Montreal, has unleashed their new single “Heard You Say.” On the track, the band comments, “The song is a little bit about how challenging and exhausting life can sometimes feel when you’re out there trying your best and tries to portray how inner dialogue and difficult relationships can impact one’s self-confidence” Their EP Safe & Sound is out on 3/1 via Setterwind Records.
