On “I Follow You,” dream pop/indie band She’s In Parties leans into their ethereal wave influences. It is a delicate, multi-layered track that takes a dark lyrical turn midway through.
RYAL - By The Minute
RYAL’s new single “By The Minute,” is what you get when you dial a 1-800 psychic hotline. The NY duo give us synth-pop perfection. Stay on the line and listen at your own risk!
CASTLEBEAT - “Looking for Something”
“Looking for Something” is a catchy lo-fi dream pop track by CASTLEBEAT. CASTLEBEAT is California-based musician Josh Hwang’s solo project. The track was written, recorded and produced in Hwang’s garage.
Burial Etiquette - Promise
Canadian band Burial Etiquette has released
“Promise,” a track that recalls their post-hardcore and emo / screamo influences. The track starts out with a looped drum pattern and slowly erupts into an all out catharsis of changing time signatures, harmonies and distortion.
SHEAFS - En Route Distress
Post-punk Sheffield band SHEAFS has released their new album A Happy Medium. On “En Route Distress,” lead singer Lawrence Feenstra sings about the general anxiety and nervousness that comes with living.

Alternative metal band Eva released their debut album last month. The 10-track release pulls from influences ranging from post-grunge, shoegaze and nu metal. On ‘OPIA,’ the band–Austin “Auzzie” Schmitt (vocals, rhythm guitar), Moises “Moi” Richardson (guitar), Ethan Strobel (bass) and Jeff Gonzales–references Deftones, Chevelle, and Slipknot alongside video game music and nu gaze artists including Wisp and Slow Crush. To mark its release, Eva curated a list of songs that shaped their full-length record. Read our Q&A and listen to the playlist.
