ACUA - Ghost Train
“Ghost Train” from German psychedelic pop band ACUA opens with a mysterious synth line, before its joined by a striking bass riff. The single is from a soon to be released full-length album.
Soft and Dumb - never wanna
The track “never wanna” from Illilois indie rock / shoegaze duo Soft and Dumb is dedicated to those theynever want to cross paths with again. The song starts out slow, then speeds up before it dies out. The band has just announced their self-titled debut.
Funeralz - Destruction is Desire
“Destruction is Desire” from Mexico’s post-punk / darkwave band Funeralz features moody synths, clean guitar riffs and singer Efrén Garcia’s distinctive vocals. The track conjures up The Cure, Joy Divison, Bauhaus and other goth rockers.
Frances Baker - Soulful Baby
“Soulful Baby” is the latest single from bedroom pop / neo-soul artist, instrumentalist & producer Frances Baker. On it, Baker’s soulful voice questions whether she’ll get through tough times.
Wooter - Epigraph
On “Epigraph,” artist & producer Wooter reminds us to step outside of our monotonous daily routine. Composed on an OP-1, the song is an aural collage that pushes us into another dimension.
On their debut album Ambivert, Houston-based duo Blemishes—comprised of Julienne Ceron and Jessie Huntington—defies easy categorization by blending diverse musical influences and styles. This 50-minute album showcases a spectrum of sounds, from frantic rhythms to gentle instrumentation, reflecting their view of albums as cohesive narratives rather than mere collections of songs.
