In “A Little Worse” the trio looks for the joys in the daily rituals to get through impending doom. “The song is about feeling like we’re past the point of no return,” the band says. “Every day it’s some new tragedy and it starts to feel like if one thing doesn’t get you there will be something else waiting around the corner so I’m trying to focus on the love and joy that I have in my every day life. Friends, partners, petting your cat.”
